Actors Go Min-si and Lee Jong-won will take on the challenge of hosting the "1st D AWARDS" ceremony.
On the 20th, the "D AWARDS" organizing committee announced that actors Go Min-si and Lee Jong-won have been selected as the main hosts for the "1st D Awards." Furthermore, "D AWARDS" revealed that they have named Go Min-si as the "DAWARDS MUSE" and Lee Jong-won as the "D Awards Maestro."
Go Min-si has emerged as a representative actress of K-storytelling, active across dramas, films, and TV entertainment. She led the successful conclusion of the series as a signature character in the Netflix original "Sweet Home" and garnered attention by showcasing peak acting skills in "The Frog." Meanwhile, she fully displayed her charm as a "natural person" on tvN's "Jinny's Kitchen 2," drawing significant interest.
Lee Jong-won starred in two works just last year, both of which were consecutive hits, establishing himself as a "hot icon" of the small screen. He proved his limitless acting spectrum through the historical drama "Knight Flower" and continued his success with dramas like "Brewing Love," rising to become a "new heartthrob."
As the main hosts and the "faces of the D AWARDS," Go Min-si and Lee Jong-won share the commonality of being male and female actors at the forefront of the "MZ generation," representing the present and future of K-storytelling.
D AWARDS has been building anticipation for the ceremony by announcing its first lineup on the 6th, including ENHYPEN, FIFTY FIFTY, QWER, TWS, and UNIS, and its second lineup on the 13th, featuring N.Flying, P1Harmony, tripleS, ZEROBASEONE, and 82MAJOR.
