Korea Trip vol.9 ~ 13 end

Korea Trip vol.9
The second biggest purpose of my Korea trip!!
SECHSKIES Concert
Debuted in '97, like H.O.T., they are one of the groups that built the 90s idol era.
At the time, they were so popular they were called the two biggest giants of the Korean idol world along with H.O.T., also legends.
・
Chekki, the seniors of SS501 and KARA, reunited in 2016 after 16 years.
I had also become a fan after they disbanded, so they were out of reach for many years. I never dreamed they would reunite.
Last year, they also debuted in Japan and held a fan meeting.
・
Met up with my Chinese friend who got the tickets at the venue.
Successfully got the tickets and entered the venue!!

SECHSKIES Concert
Chekki's MCing is great, and leader Jiwon-san's talk is funny!! He's so cool, like a mature man. Even when he's fooling around, he's always thinking of the members, a reliable older brother.
・
Jaejin, who seems cool but is a bit quirky. He looked like he was having so much fun at this concert. He came close to the fans many times on the sub-stage.
・
Doki-chan, the angel. He has a pure heart, is kind, and always heals us with his smile. He's a great dancer and cool.
・
The youngest, Suwon-san's singing voice is, as expected, so beautiful that I could listen to it forever. His solo ballad stage was so good!

Korea Trip vol.11
SECHSKIES Concert
This concert was without main vocalist Hooni, so honestly, I was very worried about how it would turn out.
But the members all covered Hooni's extensive parts, and the four of them worked hard to make up for Hooni's absence. I felt the members' love for Hooni and almost cried.
They must have wanted to have the concert as five. Hooni must have wanted to be there too.
I wanted to hear Hooni's beautiful, angelic singing voice. I hope he returns soon and they can promote as five again.

SECHSKIES Concert
Why are 90s Korean idols so cool?!
I think the TV show "ToToGa" that brought these two groups back together is truly amazing!! Thank you, ToToGa.
・
But what's most amazing is the members themselves.
Even after the group disbanded and they went solo, they all managed to be active in the tough Korean music market. That's truly amazing.
・
SECHSKIES and H.O.T. are rivals now and were rivals then, but I'm greedy and can't choose between them.
This time, the SECHSKIES and H.O.T. concerts were on the same day, unexpectedly.
But because of that, I was able to go to both legendary concerts, which was incredibly lucky.
・
Even though they are rivals, it's wonderful that the members are on good terms. Tony and Doki-chan are even living together!
・
It was truly a dreamlike two days. Even two weeks after the concert, I'm still so excited.
Thank you for the happy times.
