The alarming reports about MERS made me hesitate to go to Korea, but my desire to see the musical "Death Note" starring Junsu and the fact that I had a ticket for the premiere on the 20th, obtained through an agency, outweighed my fear of MERS infection, it seems.
I went to Korea on the 19th. I was disappointed that I couldn't see the preview performance, but I was able to scout the theater, so I could go to the premiere the next day without getting lost and learned how to transfer subway lines. (I made a few mistakes on the scouting day.)
At first, I was worried when I heard that there was no paid pick-up service after the theater performance, and I thought GTTOUR was cold, but after experiencing the subway transfers alone, I realized that I could travel in the subway as easily as in Japan, and I gained a little confidence. So, I thought I should thank GTTOUR for refusing the pick-up service.
Regarding the seat, seat number 18 in the 3rd row on the 2nd floor was in the center space, so I could see the entire stage well, which was great.
I would have been happy just to see XIA L, and I was happy that I could see him well.
I am once again impressed by the high quality of Korean musicals.
My beloved Junsu's XIA L's acting was light and cute with light movements, and although his singing style is unique, I felt something captivating. The other actors also had flawless acting and singing ability, and I was overwhelmed. I thought the ensemble members who supported the leading actors were also very good at dancing.
I am looking forward to seeing the Death Note stage in Korea in August, a month and a half after the premiere.
