Overview

Starfield Cheongna, a large-scale mixed-use complex featuring a dome stadium, shopping mall, and hotel, is currently under construction in Cheongna International City, Incheon. Once completed, it will become South Korea's second domed baseball stadium, following the Gocheok Sky Dome.
The project is scheduled for completion in 2027 and will be built on a 165,000㎡ site, with a total floor area of approximately 500,000㎡, spanning 3 underground levels and 8 above-ground floors.

The commercial complex will feature more than 350 brands, along with leisure facilities, a children's library, a hotel, and cultural spaces. Shinsegae Group expects the development to attract over 25 million visitors annually and create approximately 30,000 direct and indirect jobs.

While venues such as Rogers Centre in Toronto (which includes a hotel overlooking the stadium) and Mizuho PayPay Dome Fukuoka (located next to a major shopping mall) offer similar concepts, Shinsegae states that Starfield Cheongna will be the world's first complex where a shopping mall is directly connected to a domed baseball stadium.

In addition to standard spectator seating, visitors will be able to enjoy views of the field from hotel rooms, the swimming pool, and restaurants inside the commercial complex. On days without sporting events, the venue will host a variety of concerts, exhibitions, and cultural events, making it a year-round destination for visitors.

The Cheongna Extension of Seoul Subway Line 7 is scheduled to open in the second half of 2027, providing convenient access to the venue.
