Today, I would like to share a visit report on the interactive K-Drama exhibition that started last week!!

First, let me introduce the exhibition~♪

■ Exhibition Name: K-DRAMA SPOTLIGHT

■ Venue: Gallery Gwanghwa, 1st and 2nd Floors

■ Dates: August 12, 2024 (Mon) – November 12, 2024 (Tue) *Open every day

■ Hours: 10:00–19:00 (Sun–Fri) / 10:00–20:00 (Sat)

■ Admission: Free *Reservation required

This is an exhibition hosted for free by the Korea Tourism Organization to further promote K-Dramas!!

The venue, "Gallery Gwanghwa," is located just a short walk from Exit 7 of Gwanghwamun Station on Subway Line 5!!

Convenient, right?

This is what the exterior of "Gallery Gwanghwa" looks like. The exhibition is held on the 1st and 2nd floors.

This exhibition features 12 large-scale media art installations that make you feel like the protagonist of a drama!

Is it for real??! I entered with a bit of skepticism~

In the first exhibition space, the [WELCOME] zone, beautiful landscapes that look like they came straight out of a drama are projected all around.

At the reception, you will likely be encouraged to download a dedicated app that supports AR (Augmented Reality),

and you should definitely download it!!!

It will help you enjoy this exhibition 120%!

By collecting 9 AR markers hidden in various places, something good is sure to happen at the end...

This app will definitely provide a more immersive experience!

It supports Japanese, so don't worry ^^

In the second space, the [PHOTO LINE, RED CARPET] zone, you can experience what it's like to be an actor walking the red carpet.

In the third space, [MY STORIES], you can interact with large LED screens using actual books.

It is breathtaking to see scenes from popular dramas unfold on the large screen in front of you as you flip through the pages of the book!

The fourth space, [THE CHANGE], recreates an actor's makeup room—a place everyone would love to visit at least once.

The space, unified in soft pink, is definitely Instagrammable!!

That's it for the 1st-floor exhibition.

On the 2nd floor, you can experience even more themed spaces.

The fifth space, [THE CASTLE], creates a fantastical atmosphere as if you've wandered into a fantasy world,

and you can select your favorite images.

This is the heart-shaped tree on Jeju Island, made famous by "King the Land."

In addition to this, there is [DRAMAS], where you can watch highlights of popular dramas in a relaxing space;

[SHOOTING], which recreates the ginkgo tree that symbolized the passage of time in the popular drama "The Glory";

[STEP INTO THE SCENE], which recreates an outdoor pocha (street tavern), a place for actors to rest after filming and a common sight in daily Korean life;

[FAN MEETING], where you can virtually experience a fan meeting with an actor via VR... (it doesn't support Japanese yet, sadly);

[THE HALL OF FAME], where you can create your own AI photo;

and [HAND PRINTING & MESSAGE], where you can experience becoming an actor and leaving your handprint and a personal message.

Finally, in the [SPOTLIGHT ZONE], where you can put yourself in the spotlight, the foreshadowing from the exhibition poster is fully resolved.

Through all 12 spaces, I was able to fully enjoy the actor experience!!!

And since this exhibition is free, if you complete the stamp rally in the dedicated app,

you can even get a cute souvenir♡♡
