Seoul Weather Forecast: 3rd to 4th Week of July  

For those traveling to Seoul this week, here's a quick update to help with the weather and your preparations!

There was news that Korea's monsoon season had ended, but the rain has returned. Rainy weather is expected to continue until Thursday, July 18th. Due to the rain, temperatures have dropped significantly, with highs below 30℃, which is unusual for mid-July.

Once the rain stops, the heat will return. Next week's temperatures are expected to be 25℃ in the mornings and 33℃ during the day. Therefore, if you plan to visit Korea soon, prepare light summer clothing. However, most indoor facilities are air-conditioned, so don't forget a light jacket!

Here are some essentials for visiting Korea in the summer

☆Mosquito & Insect Repellent
Essential if you plan to go to the mountains or riverside. Korean summer = lots of mosquitoes!

☆Parasol
Traditionally not common in Korea, but more people are using them due to the strong sunlight.

☆Sunscreen & Sunglasses
Always a good choice to protect your skin and eyes from UV rays.

☆Portable Fan or Folding Fan
H highly recommended! You'll be grateful for it outdoors or while waiting for public transport.

☆Cooling Sheets & Cooling Patches
Easily found at stores like Olive Young and Daiso, but you can also bring your own!

☆Light Jacket or Cardigan
Indoor spaces like cafes, malls, and subways can get very cold due to air conditioning.
